Logistics Administrator
Job description
To meet the continued growth of the business, this busy and varied role requires a highly administrative person who will have a good knowledge of sage 50, be able to book delivery slots with stores warehouse and distribution centres. You will deal with internal Sales team and external customers on a daily basis either on the telephone or face to face. This is a fast pasted role that requires attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Please note that our location is quite remote and not accessible by public transport.
Duties and responsibilities
A good working knowledge of Sage 50 is essential

- Arranging couriers and compare transport costs
- Arrange DHL deliveries
- Pallet Network
- Pallet Count
- Labels – Box, Roll out, Etc….
- Sale orders and invoicing
- Sorting the post
- General Filing
- Chasing delivery addresses and purchase orders
- Updating the works schedule on a daily basis.
- Calendaring duties for the driver/installers including booking in the installations and liaising with store security for appropriate passes/permits as required
- Answering calls, transferring and taking messages
Monday to Friday
8am - 5pm
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in logistics or dispatch environment
- Excellent Word & Excel skills
- Strong written English, numeracy & organisational skills
- Import & Export administration knowledge
