  • Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of projects
  • Being responsible for all aspects of a project from design through to completion

Key skills required

  • superior knowledge of POS/POP industry
  • superior knowledge of acrylics, woods, HIPS and other substrates
  • Knowledge of plastic fabrication techniques and woodworking
  • Running medium and small scale projects
  • Good analytical skills
  • Project reporting
  • Ability to deliver results on time and within budget
  • Good I.T skills

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Management and development of Key accounts for sales and profit growth.
  • Develop effective partnerships with designated accounts and customers.
  • Take a full brief from customers and fully understanding their concept design and advise how to create their needs.
  • To be responsible for the management of the projects through effective project tracking process
  • Ensure that clients concepts can be successfully developed and manufactured
  • Achieve set targets
  • Pro-actively communicate, with the Design team, and with the Project Managers to clearly demonstrate effective teamwork
  • An excellent track record of successful new business development and is able to demonstrate good technical knowledge, understanding of materials and substrates used within the manufacturing process.

Key Skills required

  • Previous field sales and account management experience
  • Experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Must be self-motivated and customer focused
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

Wenbar Ltd are currently recruiting a POS designer to join our agile, fast-paced business, which delivers best in-class retail solutions. If you are a sharp industrial designer, who is ready to take a new career move and make your mark in the Retail arena then this is the opportunity for you! Reporting directly to the Head of Design, you will be accountable for all designs given to you, with guidance from senior designers. You will have proven product development experience and be part of a strong team of designers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Create new products, including 3D designs, prototyping and testing, able to execute robust design processes and continuous improvement.
  • Proven level of design capability using Solidworks CAD and 3D modelling / min 2 years.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop.
  • University Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Industrial retail / Product design.
  • Demonstrate a medium level of experience in designing and creating retail displays from artistic impression through to production.
  • Full UK Driving License required as our site is inaccessible by public transport.

This role will be based in Stow Maries , Chelmsford , Essex.

This role offers a very competitive salary, 31 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) and pension scheme.
